Filmmakers Sweep Festival Awards

Seniors Connor Lucido, Maxwell Moore and Michael Yagan won 2nd Place for Best Overall Film across all languages with their film, 愤怒管理：美味的未来 (“Anger Management: Butter Days Ahead”).

 

Seniors Daniel John and James Knoflicek won eight awards for their film “La Secte,” including Best Overall French Film, Best Advanced French Film and Best Use of Language in an Advanced French Film. Juniors Miles McEachen, Carson Matula, Cale Williams, Leili Deshmukh Isaac Holmes and Joel Siegel, along with senior Mateo Mountford, won 1st Place in the UCM Flash Film Contest for their film “Roberto,” which they filmed, edited and subtitled in one hour.
