Track Heads To State
Lizzie Boyce '23, Alex Franklin '24, Zoey Hrabe '24, Connor Lucido '24, and Joe Whitfill '24 represented Barstow on Saturday, May 13, at the MSHSAA Class 2 Sectional Meet in Plattsburg. Zoey Hrabe '24 and Alex Franklin '24 will represent Barstow at the MSHSAA State Championship in Jefferson City from May 19-20.
Zoey Hrabe took 2nd in pole vault, with a height of 10'7". Alex Franklin finished 3rd in the triple jump, with a distance of 41-01.50. Both Zoey and Alex will represent Barstow at the MSHSAA State Championship in Jefferson City from May 19-20.
Lizzie Boyce finished her senior year strong representing Barstow in shot put this year. Joe Whitfill had a pr in the mile finishing with an overall time of 4:43.68. Connor Lucido ran a strong 100m, also finishing with a pr of 11.67.
