STUDENTS SUPPORT BREAST CANCER RESEARCH AT PINK OUT
In its tenth year, the Barstow Volleyball Pink Out game on Tuesday, Oct. 22, raised $1,656 for Susan G. Komen breast cancer research.
The athletic department collected the money through t-shirt sales and a bake sale stocked with pink treats. It was also Senior Night for Gwen Laub and Amanda Munsell. The Pink Out game drew a large crowd to the varsity gym. Our Lady Knights played hard, but dropped the match to Maranatha. Still, the stands were packed with proud Knights, many of whom attended after cheering for the boys soccer in its earlier game.
