ROBOTICS STUDENTS BUILD CARS FOR KIDS

Sixty-two Barstow robotics team members and mentors led over 150 students from 12 Kansas City area teams in adapting ride-on cars for children with mobility challenges at the Go Baby Go Community Build.
Twenty two children received vehicles. One of these was a world first conversion of a hoverboard to an adaptive vehicle. Barstow's FIRST Team 1939 is a global leaders in the movement for students to use their STEM Skills for social good. Watch this story from KMBC 9 News for a feel good moment of giving back.
