Coach Scott Huppe started coaching at Barstow in 2001. Since the spring of 2009 his teams have won 12 of 17 District titles, made 8 State Quarterfinal appearances, 4 Final Four appearances, and won two State Championship (boys) in 2014 and 2018.
Coach Huppe has been named the Western Region Coach of the Year 6 times and the Missouri Class 1 Coach of the Year twice (2014 & 2018). His players have also received many individual awards; 23 Regional Player of the Year awards along with 6 State Player of the Year awards. 52 players have received at least 1 All-State Team award, totaling 77 in his time at Barstow.
Coach Huppe, a player and graduate of Bishop Miege High School and Rockhurst College, continued his career playing professionally with the Lafayette (LA) Swampcats and KC Attack. He lives in Shawnee with his wife Katie and children Vincent and Mia.
