Junior's Piano Performance Wins Gold
Junior Ethan Brunell-Wright is bringing home a gold medal for his piano performance at the MSHSAA State Solo Competition in Columbia on Friday, April 26.
Ethan performed Chopin's Fantasie-Impromptu, Op.66 on piano. During spring break, he competed at the district level and earned an outstanding rating, moving him on to significantly steeper competition and a higher standard of judging.
Ethan will play his gold award-winning piece at Upper school Applause Night on Monday, April 29, at 6 p.m. in the auditorium. Applause will be followed by an opening reception for the Senior Art Show in the Upper School Commons.
