Debate Leaders Top Elite List
Seniors Ava Levin and Paranjay Sharma capped their Barstow debate careers with an outstanding accomplishment.
They are among the top policy debaters in the state of Missouri, according to rankings by the National Speech and Debate Association. Ava is ranked number 2 with 981 points, and Paranjay is ranked number 4 with 948 points.
Barstow debaters make up an outstanding ten percent of the top 50 list! Junior Tyler Bauman is ranked 23rd, senior Jayden Sampat is 31st and junior and Margo Gonzales is 47th, attesting to the continued strength of Barstow's signature program coached by Gabe Cook and Lucia Scott.
