Debate Goes to Vegas
The Barstow debate team competed in the Golden Desert Debate Tournament in Las Vegas Feb. 3-5.
22 students traveled to Vegas to compete. Charlotte Turner, freshman and Syndey Westphal, junior, won second place in novice policy debate. Jayden Sampat, senior, and Tyler Bauman, junior, advanced to elimination rounds in varsity policy debate. The squad finished the tournament with a winning record.
