Spanish Students Earn Medals For Exam
Thirty-two students in grades 8-12 earned recognition for excellence ion the 2026 National Spanish Exam.
Offered by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP), the National Spanish Exam is an online competition open to students in grades 6–12 nationwide. The exam measures vocabulary, grammar, listening and reading comprehension.
Students who place at or above the 75th percentile at the national level receive gold, silver or bronze medals or honorable mentions, and are eligible to apply for several language-related scholarships through AATSP. Over 83,000 students nationwide took the exam in 2026.
