Debate Advances to Quarter-Final Round at Tournament
The upper school debate team competed at the annual Fort Osage New Year Kickoff Speech and Debate Tournament on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 9-10.
The tournament included 600 competitors from 28 schools across Missouri. Senior Sky MacIvor and junior Charlotte Turner finished fourth in Varsity Policy Debate after advancing to the quarter-final elimination round. Barstow students also participated in novice Lincoln-Douglas debate.
