Renovated Science Labs Near Completion
Middle & upper school students will return to a major modernization of the School's Chemistry, Environmental Science and Physics labs. This $600,000 project reflects Barstow's deep commitment to STEAM education and promises to transform the way our students learn sciences.
Through upgraded lab infrastructure, flexible classroom design and improved safety systems, students will engage more deeply in hands-on learning in spaces that encourage critical thinking, problem solving and real-world application. New equipment that supports inquiry-based instruction will allow students to participate in authentic experimental design, data collection and analysis, and our faculty will collaborate in planning workshops to ensure design meets rigorous instructional goals.
