Middle Schoolers Recognized for Math Exam Scores
Three middle school students earned Barstow’s top scores on this year’s AMC 8 math exam.
The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute mathematics competition open to students in grade 8 and below across the United States and Canada. Administered annually in January, the exam introduces students to mathematical problem-solving beyond the standard curriculum. Students interested in further competition can take the AMC 10 and AMC 12 in upper school.
