Debate Teams Compete Locally and Online

Middle and upper school debate teams competed in tournaments locally and online this week, winning a number of awards.
The upper school debate team competed in two tournaments during the weekend of Dec. 5-7. Congratulations to the following students for their performance at the TOC Digital tournament:

Aun Hathiari - 11th speaker 
Darin Goodman - 14th speaker 
 
Congratulations to the following award-winners at the Independence Winter Classic, held at Truman High School and William Chrisman High School Dec. 5-6:

The Middle school debate team competed in the Gloria Wills Middle School Debate Tournament on Dec. 11, hosted by DEBATE-Kansas City. Fifteen schools from across the area participated in Student Congress and Policy Debate. Congratulations to the team, and to the following award-winners:
