Students in the music, theatre and art departments were recognized at Applause Night on Wednesday, April 30, where they received awards and letters for their achievements. After the awards ceremony, visitors were invited to the opening of the senior art show in the Upper School Commons and Embry Gallery. Through Friday, May 16, art created by seniors in drawing, painting and ceramics classes will be on display, with some pieces available for purchase.

In preparation for their week-long trip to Washington D.C, fifth graders designed, modeled and 3D printed some of the national monuments that they will visit.
Students from grades 4 and 5 received awards for their performance in the Noetic Learning Math Contest, a semiannual problem-solving contest for elementary and middle school-aged students. To complete the contest, students have 45 minutes to solve 20 creative math problems without a calculator.

Performing Arts students will have the opportunity to travel, perform and earn class credit at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland during the summer of 2026. This opportunity is available to students in graduating classes 2027-2030, and all participants will receive half a class credit in Performing Arts.

Carlos Salazar, junior, was recognized as a Dean’s List Award Finalist at the FIRST Robotics Oklahoma Regional on Saturday, April 4. This award recognizes leadership and professionalism in robotics; only two students from each regional competition are selected as finalists.

The Knights girls tennis team won the Class 2 State Championship on Nov. 1, besting Ladue Horton Watkins in a down-to-the-wire final, 5-4. The team reached the title match after defeating powerhouse MICDS (St. Louis) 5-4.
