The Lady Knight are peaking at the right time and used the strength of their lineup, top to bottom, to down a solid large class Notre Dame de Sion, 7-2. In doubles Hannah Tadros and Helene Bergere continued on their roll, and whipped a solid #1 doubles team, 8-2. At #3 doubles, Mia Sabapathy and Arwa Rawjani played their best doubles of the year, and won 8-1.
In singles, Hannah Tadros led off at #1 and rolled to an 8-1 win, while Mia Sabapathy and Arwa Rawjani made quick work of the evening with solid 8-2 and 8-3 wins, respectively. And in the feature match long into the early evening, at #4 Helene Bergere came from behind to grab an 8-7 (7-4) tiebreaker win.
The Lady Knights take an even bigger bite tomorrow night when they line up against perennial 6A Kansas state finalist, Shawnee Mission East at Harmon Park. The girls would like to thank their #1 faculty fan, Mr. Luce, for stopping by to cheer the girls on.
