LADY KNIGHTS DEFEAT LEE'S SUMMIT NORTH
The girls tennis team defeated the Broncos of North Thursday night, 8-1 in convincing fashion. Finishing a terrific week of tennis Janie King handled the work at #1 singles, 8-0. Emma Shapiro and Amelia Smith played well at #''s 2 and 3 with 8-1 wins. Lena Wencker at 5 and Hannah Tadros at #3 both held down their courts with 8-2 wins.
The girls dominated in doubles as well with 8-0 wins at #1 by Janie and Amelia and at #2 by Hannah and Emma. At #3 doubles Lena and Helene Bergere played a solid game with an 8-2 victory. The girls next action is Monday at Aquinas with the varsity and at home with the JV.
