Boys Golf Team Headed to State
The varsity boys golf team competed in the MSHSAA Class III District 4 Tournament at Mozingo Lake Recreation Complex in Maryville on Monday, May 6.
16 schools and 83 golfers were in the field. The top two teams and top 13 individuals not associated with either qualifying team move on to the state tournament, which takes place Monday, May 13 and Tuesday, May 14 at Rivercut Golf Course in Maryville.
Barstow took second place, advancing as a team to the state tournament.
Seniors Tyler McNieve (T7, 76), Paranjay Sharma (T5, 75) and Owen Snyder (T5, 75) led the Knights earning All District Honors. Senior Dylan Markey (25, 86) and junior David Williams (T31, 88) also move on to represent Barstow in the state tournament.
