Tennis Duos to Compete in State Doubles
For the third time in six years, the boys tennis team had both doubles entries advance to the individual district finals, which guarantees advancement to the state championships.
After a strong tournament that culminated in two Barstow pairs facing each other in the finals, freshman Saam Biria and senior Sunny Gandhari won first place in the tournament, with sophomore Sanjeev Adma and junior Liam Groden taking second place. All four qualified to advance to the state-level competition. This will be Sunny’s fourth time in four years advancing to state.
