Summer Book List Released

The middle and upper school summer reading program is designed to remind students of the joys of the imagination, the thrill of adventure, and the necessity of compassion. Here are the books our students will be reading this summer.
This year's list features classics and recent prize winners, reliably unreliable narrators and flights of fancy. Students will engage novels serious and challenging, hysterical and shocking, innovative and philosophical.

Students should complete the reading before school begins in August. The English faculty encourages
parents to read the books that their children are reading. A conversation about a book, perhaps over dinner, maybe in the car, can be a great way to connect and share perspectives.
