McNeive Wins Bishop Leblond Invitational, Knights Take Second
The boys golf team came in second at the St. Joe LeBlond Invitational on Monday, April 24. Junior Tyler McNeive finished in first place.
Junior, Tyler McNeive fired a two-under-par 69 to win the Bishop Leblond Invitational, Monday, April 24 at St. Joseph Country Club. McNeive won by three strokes in a field of over 70 golfers and 12 teams.
Overall, the Knights took second, with a team score of 320. Junior Owen Snyder medaled, shooting an 82, good for T8, while sophomore David Williams finished T10 with an 83, but did not medal based on a scorecard tiebreaker. Other scores for the Knights included Juniors Paranjay Sharma, 86, and Dylan Markey, 87.
Bishop Leblond won the tournament, with a team total of 301, carding scores of 72, 74, 75 and 80.
