Cultural Enrichment Festival a Huge Success

Hundreds of guests enjoyed the Barstow Cultural Enrichment Festival on Saturday, Feb. 25. Barstow families hosted tables representing more than 25 countries and cultures.
Visitors enjoyed food, crafts, music, activities and beautiful dance performances representing Colombia, Brazil, India and Indigenous people. Children under 12 received a passport to stamp each time they visited a new country, tried a new food, watched a performance or participated in other global activities.

Upper school students participated by volunteering at the festival or representing groups such as the Muslim Student Association, Black Student Union and GSA.

At the Barstow Global Education booth, visitors learned about our international campuses and partner schools, and donated to Heart to Heart International to purchase hygiene kits for displaced families in Ukraine and Türkiye. The school will present a check for $500 to Heart to Heart on Friday, March 10.
