Lower School Students Chat n Chew
Lower school students in grades 2-5 are able to enjoy special lunch sessions at the student success center where they explore different books.
Academic coaches, Mindy Roper and Barbie O'Toole hold Chat n Chew sessions for lower school students every six to eight weeks in the Student Success Center. Ms. O'Toole uses her background as a media center specialist to choose grade-specific books for students to read.
Once students complete the book, they head to the Student Success Center during lunch where they discuss their favorite moments and key takeaways. Chat n Chew is open to any student in grades 2-5 that want a fun way to read a book, hangout and eat lunch.
