Middle and Upper School Debate Shine At Competitions
Middle and upper school debate programs continued their winning streaks at two different tournaments.
Barstow middle school debate won eight awards while competing in the Sumner Academy debate tournament on Tuesday, Jan. 17. Seven students earned an award in student congress, helping the team win second place in school sweepstakes points. The award winners are listed below, and we congratulate everyone that competed.

Barstow upper school debate competed online in the Westside Warrior Speech and Debate Tournament held Jan. 5-7, hosted by Omaha Westside High School.
Paranjay Sharma and Mahek Vora advanced to the quarterfinals in the varsity policy debate division. The squad also earned several varsity speaker awards listed below.
