Middle School Starts Spirit Club
Middle school students have a new way to show Barstow spirit and celebrate athletics and activities. The Middle School Spirit Club is ready to unite the Knights in grades 6-8.
All middle school students is invited to join the club, which will meet two Thursdays a month after school.
At the first meeting on Dec. 1, dozens of students decorated the Middle School Commons to generate excitement for the winter basketball season.
Middle school has seven boys and girls teams that tip off their seasons against Pembroke Hill this Saturday, Dec. 3. All middle school athletic schedules are available here.
The spirit club will also organize social events, decorate for other school occasions and sponsor spirit weeks, including their first one Monday, Dec. 5-Friday, Dec. 9. Parents from the Barstow Booster Club are helping organize the activities, along with Dean of Student Services David Muhammad. Go Knights!
