BPA News September 2022

The Barstow Parents' Association is kicking off the 2022-2023 school year with exciting events and opportunities for everyone in our school community. Here are highlights, and upcoming dates to mark on your calendar.

Harvest Festival

Thank you all for attending Harvest Festival on Friday, Sept. 23! We had a tremendous turnout from the Barstow community. The inflatable mechanical bull and horse-drawn hayride were a giant hit with the kids.  We are excited to announce our four winners of the raffle contest to pie Mr. Dan McNickle in the face:
  • Kelly Groebl
  • Debbie Harris
  • Jenny Koreckij
  • Amy Krantz
Thank you to our many volunteers, to our families who purchased raffle tickets with their Harvest Festival orders —  to Mr. Dan for being a great sport. (We'll share the video next week!) For more Harvest Fest fun, view our photo album here.

Trunk or Treat
Another fall favorite all-school  event sponsored by BPA is returning in October. Join us for an afternoon of fun and prizes at BPA Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, Oct. 29. Trunk-or-treating will be from 4-6 p.m. in Lot B. Anyone who is decorating a trunk can begin setting up at 2:30 p.m. More details will be coming soon.
