Three Advance to National Geography Bee Competition
Sixth graders Adit Reddy, Anya Reddy and John McKinney have qualified for International Academic Competition's National Geography Bee that will take place in Orlando, FL from June 17-21.
Adit Reddy, Anya Reddy and John McKinney completed the initial online qualifier round in Geography class back in December. Their scores earned them the opportunity to compete at the Regional level from their choice of in-person locations or the online competitions. Anya and Adit competed in the Midwest Regional online in March and qualified for Nationals with a 4th place finish for Adit and an 18th place finish for Anya while John participated in the KC Regionals in May, earning a spot at Nationals with his 7th place finish.
