KNIGHTS ROLL VS SION AT HOME

The Barstow girls tennis team whipped district rival  Sion on Monday, 8-1 on the home courts.  The Lady Knights picked up two early wins in doubles with Lia Adams and Phoebe Martin dominating at #1 with an 8-0- victory.  At #2 doubles juniors Mary Colombo and Aishi Sethi held the momentum throughout with an 8-5 win.  Zoey Hrabe and Lahna Groden played well but lost in a tiebreaker, 7-8.  

The Lady Knights sealed the deal in singles with Phoebe Martin keeping her record clean with an 8-0 win and Lia Adams dominating with an 8-1 win.  at #3 Mary Colombo was off to a fast start and finished with an 8-4 win.  At #4, Aishi Sethi was in control throughout with an 8-2 win and Zoey Hrabe played a solid baseline game for an 8- 5 victory.  The girls are now 3-1 in duals on this new season and take on St.Teresa's Wednesday with the varsity here and the junior varsity at the Plaza courts for an early 3:00 start.  Great work today, ladies.
