Knights Go to Bat for Urban Youth Academy
The boys baseball team volunteered at Urban Youth Academy on Saturday, April 17, and worked with young athletes to improve their swings.
The team worked with the youth academy players on posture when swinging the bat, hitting the ball and follow through. The Knights had a busy day, also playing two games in the Grandview tournament.
The Kansas City MLB Urban Youth Academy is a non-profit organization with the mission to empower Kansas City's underserved youth ages 6-18 through baseball and softball, academic and social opportunities to be the leaders of tomorrow.
