Barstow is proud of its alumni around the world and the expertise they have to share with today's students. This week, two former students returned to Barstow to share their professional accomplishments.
On Wednesday, Oct. 2, Rachel Ripp '15 returned to BTVN, to talk to current students about careers in broadcasting. Ripp earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Pepperdine and has worked as a reporter in Malibu and as an ESPN production intern. She is about to begin a new job as a reporter at a Midland, Texas, television station.
Whitney Manney also stopped by Barstow this week. The former student is an up and coming fashion designer and artist in Kansas City. She will be showing some of her work during the Alumni Art Show in the Emby Gallery in the Upper School Commons, opening during Alumni Weekend Oct. 11-12. Manney was profiled in the fall issue of The Barstow School Magazine.
