Middle School Athletes Win Conference Championships
A middle school volleyball team and cross country athletes won Crossroads Conference competitions last weekend.
Middle school volleyball "A" team, coached by Erika Sanders, took on the previously undefeated Pembroke Hill Thursday, Oct. 16, and won 2-1. The Knights defeated Summit Christian Academy on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2-1, to win the Crossroads Conference Tournament tournament.
Several middle school cross country runners placed in the top 20 during the Crossroads Championship Meet on Saturday, Oct. 18:
1st place: Sebastian Johnson, grade 8
2nd place: Henry Roth, grade 8
9th place: Arjun Tejwani, grade 6
11th place: Adam Hammoud, grade 11
