Knights Medal in Midway Meet
The Knights track and field team had an outstanding showing on Friday, April 9, at Cass Midway. Barstow received a total of six medals, and each athlete improved their time in each of their events.

The women's 4x100m relay landed second with an overall time of 56 seconds. This relay consisted of the freshman foursome Zoey Hrabe, Phoebe Martin, Chanelle Anderson and Holly Woods.
The women's 4x200m relay landed third with an overall time of 1:58.6 This relay consisted of, you guessed it... Zoey Hrabe, Phoebe Martin, Chanelle Anderson, and Holly Woods. They like to run really, really fast.
Holly Woods finished fourth in the 100m with an overall time of 13.8.
Chanelle Anderson finished third in the 200m with an overall time of 29.1.
Allison Orozco, sophomore, made her 3200 debut finishing second with an overall time of 15:28.
The Whitfill brothers had a big meet. Joe Whitfill, freshman, finished sixth in the 800m with an overall time of 2:21. He claims he was "tired" after chasing his brother during the mile. Luke Whitfill, junior, finished third in the mile with an overall time of 5:11. Joe finished fourth at 5:14. And Luke decided one mile wasn't enough — and ran the 3200 for good measure, finishing third at 11:54.
