Student-Athletes Commit to Collegiate Sports
Seniors Sonya Shkuta, Alex Dean and Chloe Red Legs celebrated their commitment to play sports at the collegiate level on Wednesday, April 29.
Sonya will play tennis at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. Alex will play basketball at Louisiana State University – Eunice. Chloe will play basketball at Jacksonville University – Rome City Institute in Rome, Italy.
Sonya was a key member of the Knights MSHSAA Class 2 State Championship in 2024, and competed in the individual state doubles chmpionship this year. Both Alex and Chloe were members of the 2025-2026 Knights basketball team that reached the MSHSAA Final Four Championship in March. Congratulations — we are Barstow Proud!
