Knights Spirit Wear Shop Opens
The all-new Knights Spirit Wear Shop, featuring gear designed and made by Sandlot Goods, is doing brisk business in the Hall of Champions.
The shop's "Green Monday" grand opening was a big success, with students and parents excited to see and purchase new T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, totes and the Sandlot-specialty yardballs. Some items have already sold out and a reorder is in the works.
"People seem to love the new look that is unique to Barstow, but also has that very recognizable Sandlot design ," Community Relations Director Dan McNickle said. "We're already getting requests and recommendations to add certain things to our inventory."
Thinking about holiday gifts? Regular spirit wear shop hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 7:30-9 a.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Hall of Champions. When visiting the shop, please use the middle school parking lot (Lot F), and enter through the gymnasium entrance to limit disruption to PE classes and athletic practices.
