  • Commencement Weekend Begins

    Forty-three seniors in the Class of 2026 will graduate from The Barstow School on Monday, May 18, following a weekend of traditions and recognition.

    Selection is open for an exciting list of grade 7 and 8 electives for the 2026-2027 school year. Electives  include exciting options in visual and performing arts, STEAM and sports.

    Eighth graders capped their middle school years with awards and end-of-year celebrations on Wednesday, May 13. Along with earlier recognition for students in grades 6 and 7, the awards recognize excellence in academics, arts, athletics and community involvement during the 2025-2026 school year.
  • Scouts Plant Campus Pollinator Garden

    Girl Scout Troop 3368 is transforming a space on campus into a native plant pollinator garden as part of its Bronze Award project, the highest honor a Junior Girl Scout can earn.
  • The project-learning model relies on having an authentic audience, like the families and special guests gathered at IDEA Space, for sharing work and insights.

    Grade 6 Journeys into World of "The Hobbit"

    Sixth graders completed a journey to Middle-earth at the World Café on Thursday, May 7 —  and along the way, they discovered how powerful learning can be when subjects connect.

    Athletes Recognized for Excellence

    The Barstow Knights celebrated student-athlete excellence during the 2026 Athletic Awards ceremony on Thursday, May 7, recognizing accomplishments in competition, leadership, scholarship and sportsmanship throughout the year.
