Middle & Upper School Science Position 2021-2022 School Year

GENERAL INFORMATION
The Barstow School is seeking an organized and energetic science faculty member.  This position would teach some combination of middle and upper school science courses ranging in possibilities from middle school science offerings to upper-level science courses.  Candidates should have a strong background in teaching, preferably in an independent school setting, and possess excellent communication and writing skills.  The ideal candidate will also be creative and showcase flexibility.
 
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
 
●          A minimum of a bachelor's degree in science education, preferably a Master’s degree.
●          At least two years teaching Middle and/or Upper School, preferably in an independent school setting.
●          A high degree of comfort using technology to inform instruction.
●          Excellent organization and communication skills.
