Arthur Hall

Art Hall has 25 years of experience in independent school education and a diverse set of skills and expertise.
Mr. Hall has been a teacher, computer specialist, coach and executive leader at top-tier schools including Harvard-Westlake (Los Angeles), Greenhill School (Dallas), Friends’ Central (Philadelphia), Tower Hill School (Wilmington, Delaware) and Lakehill Preparatory School (Dallas) in Philadelphia.

Mr. Hall has a dual bachelor’s degree in political science and history from UCLA and a master’s degree in Education and teaching of the gifted and talented from Southern Methodist University. He is also a 2009 NAIS Aspiring Heads Fellow.

Known for fostering academic excellence, Mr. Hall has also spearheaded global education initiatives, revamped curriculum to better serve today’s students and secured significant grants and gifts to sustain and support school operations. His commitment to student-centered learning, community building and inclusive leadership aligns with Barstow’s mission to provide symmetrical development of mind, body, and character.
