Extended Care
Morning and Afternoon Options
Extended Care welcomes students in preschool-grade 8 before and after school. Our program provides students with a balance of learning and fun, and fosters the same community atmosphere that students experience in their classrooms. Activities include arts and crafts, games, homework and outdoor play.
Extended Care services are open to any student on a drop-in basis or they may be enrolled through an Extended Care contract.
Hours
Morning Extended Care
- Monday-Friday, 7-7:45 a.m. for early childhood and lower school.
- Monday-Friday, 7-8:00 a.m. for middle school.
Morning Extended Care students report to the dining hall after check-in at the front desk in the lobby.
Afternoon Extended Care
- Monday-Friday, 3-6 p.m. for early childhood and lower school in Price Hall and dining hall.
- Monday-Friday, 3:45-6 p.m. for middle school in the COVE. All student in grades 6-8 must be in the COVE if they are on campus after 3:45 p.m.
Fall 2023 After School Classes
Add enrichment to your child's afternoon extended care. Registration for fall after school classes on the Barstow campus begins Tuesday, Aug. 22. Registration for after school classes at IDEA Space begins Monday, July 31.

Shining Stars

Tumbling

IDEA Space Classes
After school STEAM classes for all grades will be offered at IDEA Space during two fall sessions, Aug. 21-Oct. 13 and Oct. 16-Dec. 15. Fall registration begins Monday, July 31.
