Second Driveway
Construction of our second driveway began in mid-September and is expected to be complete during the second semester of this school year. The 1,250 foot, two-lane drive begins south of the current State Line entrance and curves around the outfield of the Graves Family Baseball Stadium, leading to the middle school entrance.
Temporary fencing is in place to ensure the safety of our students, faculty and staff during construction. During the week of Oct. 2-6, crews cleared the pathway from State Line Road leading to the middle school entrance and new parking lot.
This fall, the soccer practice field on the west side of campus remains open for outdoor activities. As that space is impacted by construction, outdoor activities will move to the area adjacent to the Senior Circle. This addition will improve traffic flow on our campus, making it safer and more efficient for all members of our community. OnSite Construction Group is the contractor.

The driveway is projected to cost $2.3 million dollars, completely funded by the 2022-2023 Driving Forward campaign. The Barstow community gave $1,019,422 to the campaign between October 2022-June 2023. An anonymous donor gave an additional $1,300,000 — raising a record amount in record time.
