Sixty years ago, Barstow was surrounded by cornfields and two lane roads instead of today’s bustling neighborhoods, businesses and high-volume traffic. However, our campus still has a single State Line entrance.

Donations to 2022-2023 Barstow Fund will be designated to the Driving Forward campaign. Every dollar you give moves our gauge toward a full tank — and closer to a second driveway on campus.
We are excited to announce that an anonymous donor will provide a dollar-for-dollar match for every gift made through March 31, 2023.
Construction on the second driveway will begin when the campaign reaches 80% of its goal through pledged and received donations. It will take approximately four months to complete after the plan is approved by the city of Kansas City, Missouri.

A second driveway will be a permanent part of Barstow’s future, an important campus improvement to be used by families, students, faculty and staff and visitors for generations. Donors who give $5,000 or more to the Driving Forward campaign will be honored with a laser-engraved brick permanently installed on campus.

Gaining Momentum
Barstow has received transformational gifts to fund campus improvements over the last few years. These include adding turf to our soccer field, replacing the roof, renovating locker rooms and Hall of Champions restrooms, creating the Graves Family Lounge for faculty and staff, and opening the Dan & Cassidy Towriss IDEA Space.
Soon, we will begin renovating our baseball stadium and constructing a new athletic building. These projects will impact every student’s Barstow experience, from academics to athletics, for which we are so grateful. We invite every member of our school community to join us in driving forward, by donating to the campaign for a second drive.
