Four Barstow Boys Tennis Players Head to State

For the first time since 2015 the Barstow boys tennis team is sending four individual players to the MSHSAA State Championships in Springfield, Missouri.  In a dominating performance against both Marshall and Lafayette County, the Knights won both singles matches and one of the two doubles matches.  

In singles Richey King jumped on the #1 Lafayette player winning 6-0, 6-0, while in the other singles Sunil Reiland also dominated with a 6-1, 6-0 victory.  In the doubles match Matthew Justis and George Colombo served well and swarmed the net for a 6-1, 6-1 win.  

In the other sectional doubles action the St. Michael's doubles team defeated the Marshall doubles team.

All four Knights tennis players will travel to the Cooper Tennis Center in Springfield, MO to play in the MSHSAA Individual State Championships on May 21 and 22.  Congratulations Knights!!
