Barstow Wins Big at Science & Engineering Fair
Among thousands of competitors, Barstow lower school scientists and inventors won five out of 15 categories in a strong showing at the Greater Kansas City Science and Invention Fair.
Students in grades four and five also earned seven special awards, invitations to display projects to larger audiences and even a few cash prizes.

Ms. Buckner's students won several first place awards, including one for Apollo and Quincy's project about airplane wing design.
