KNIGHTS MOVE ON TO TEAM DISTRICT FINALS

The Lady Knights tennis squad made quick work in the semifinals of Harrisonville on Tuesday with a 5-0 win.  The doubles teams set the stage with a sweep,.  Sarena Biria and Mia Sabapathy won handily 8-0 and Mary Colombo and Hope Leathers did the same at 8-3.  After a slow start, Aishi Sethi and Divya Dendi found their game and won 8-5.  

In singles, needing only two wins to move on, Sarrena Biria at #1  closed out her match at 6-0, 6-0  and Aishi Sethi at #5  played some of her best singles of the year with a solid 6-0, 6-2 win.

 

The girls are scheduled to take on Sion tomorrow ON THE BARSTOW COURTS at an early start time, 3:00, for the District Team Championship with the winner moving on to the state sectionals and quarterfinals two Saturdays from tomorrow.
