LADY KNIGHTS TENNIS FINISHES STRONG

The Barstow girls tennis team finished it’s regular season strong with a 5-1 rain shortened win on the road.  

At #1 doubles Sarena Biria and Mia Sabapathy started slowly but got their momentum to roll to a 8-4 win.  At #2 doubles Mary Colombo and Hope Leathers shook off a sluggish start to grab an 8-3 win and in their best doubles of the season Divya Dendi and Aishi Sethi rolled to an 8-3 victory.

In the singles that finished, Sarena Biria dominated at 8-0 and Mary Colombo won easily at 8-3.  Hope Leathers was leading at 6-4 when the skies opened up.

 

The girls begin their Team District as the #1 seed when they play the winner of Clinton and Lutheran at the Barstow courts on Tuesday.
