Barstow Kicks Off Homecoming with Pep Assembly

Students gathered in the Varsity Gym on Friday, Feb. 20, for a pep assembly ahead of tonight's homecoming basketball games against Van Horn High School. Girls play at 6 p.m., and boys play at 7:30 p.m.

The pep assembly featured a faculty/senior basketball game, which the faculty won 14-11, followed by a performance by the Knight Stars dance team. Winter sports team captains shared highlights from the season and students across all divisions participated in fun activities, with soundtrack provided by the B-Sides band. The following members of this year’s homecoming royalty candidates will be recognized at the boys basketball homecoming game, which begins at 7:30 p.m. Students voted for their choice for homecoming king and queen this week, with results to be announced at halftime.
