Robotics Teams Honored for Innovation
Robotics Team 1939 returned from a regional competition in Arkansas with a top ten finish — and the Creativity Award for an innovative upgrade to this year's robot.
FRC Team 1939 (the Kuhnigits) competed at the FIRST regional Competition in Searcy, Arkansas last week. After qualification matches, the team placed eighth out of 29 teams. The team also won the Creativity Award for its unique "flip-dexer," an innovative design element that moves the game pieces from the intake into the scoring arm of the robot. The next competition is April 1-4 at the Central Missouri Regional in Sedalia, Missouri.
