Judith Yount is an experienced teacher and administrator who believes in the importance of recognizing students' unique talents to make learning meaningful.
Ms. Yount has worked closely with parents and students as a kindergarten and eighth grade teacher, a school counselor, and a preschool-grade 8 principal. She joined Barstow's faculty in 1993 and has served in several leadership positions before assuming her current role as Vice President.
She has a bachelor's degree from Ball State University in Indiana and a certificate in school administration from the University of Kansas. She is a member of the National Association of Elementary Principals (NAESP), the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
