2009 Summer Program Information

The 2008 Summer at Barstow program was a wild success!  Now it's time to begin thinking about Summer 2009.  Our summer program will be eight-weeks long, and run from June 8 until July 31.  The 2009 Summer at Barstow Catalog will be available online on Feb. 19; those who attended our 2008 Summer at Barstow program should also receive their catalog by mail on that date.  Online registration will be opened for Barstow families on Feb. 20, and for the rest of the Kansas City metro area on Feb. 27.  There will be no camp on Fri., July 3, in observation of the Fourth of July.  Our celebration will take place on the second of July, from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.  For a sample of activities, please see our 2008 Third of July Bash.  Enrollments should be completed online.

If you are interested in becoming a Teacher's Assistant (you must be 14 years of age), applications will be available online beginning October 1.  Applications will be accepted until March 2.

First Burst and Last Blast of Summer
The First Burst of Summer will run June 1-5, 2009.  Last Blast of Summer full-day camp will be offered Aug. 3-7, 2009.  These programs are much smaller than our regular summer programs (limit of 30 children), and there will be separate programs for those in grades PK through first grade and second through fifth grade.  You may enroll online for both First Burst and Last Blast at time of enrollment for summer courses.
