The Barstow School provides a unique summer program where children, ages 3-18, are given opportunities to grow in an intellectual, creative and engaging environment through a variety of academic, athletic and enrichment experiences. Our summer program is open to all students and families regardless of the school they attend during the conventional school year.
There are 10 weeks of programming available to accommodate your family schedule. Most of our camps offered run one week for half a day (AM Classes: 9:00-12:00 PM Classes: 12:30-3:30). Extended care is available for all campers.
**JUST ADDED** Video Game Design Class (Grades 5 - 8) This course provides students with a fun, interactive look at the world of video game design and development. Students enrolled in this camp will learn the basics of video game design and produce several different interactive video games to share with their friends and family. Instruction provided by YouthTech, Inc. on our campus. Youth Tech Inc. is an interactive computer camp that focuses on providing enrichment opportunities to students in the world of computers. www.youthtechinc.com

Summer 2009 Program Notes
· Students are enrolled in programs based on the grade they will be entering in the Fall of 2009.
· All classes run one week unless otherwise noted. All academic classes run six weeks from June 15- July 24.
· Registration is ongoing until the first day of class and completed online using the link listed above. Classes fill quickly so register early to have ample choice in programming. If online registration is not possible contact the summer office at 816.277.0428
· There will be no camp on Friday, July 3rd in observation of the Fourth of July. Our celebration will take place on the first of July, from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. Free enrollment should be completed online during week four of summer camp.

First Burst and Last Blast of Summer
The First Burst of Summer will run June 1-5, 2009. Last Blast of Summer full-day camp will be offered Aug. 3-7, 2009. These programs are much smaller than our regular summer programs (limit of 30 children), and there will be separate programs for those in grades PK through first grade and second through fifth grade. You may enroll online for both First Burst and Last Blast at time of enrollment for summer courses.
