Meet The Board President

Thomas F. Whittaker is Senior Vice President, Assistant Secretary and General Counsel of J. E. Dunn Construction Company. J. E. Dunn is a general contractor with offices in fourteen cities throughout the country and has its headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri. Tom has been with J. E. Dunn since 1994.

Tom graduated from Kansas State University in 1987 with a degree in Construction Science. He worked as an assistant superintendent for two years before starting law school at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law. Tom graduated from law school and entered private practice at a firm in Kansas City, Missouri. After almost three years of private practice, he joined J. E. Dunn.

Tom is Former Chairman of the Board of the Builders Association and serves as a director on the boards of The Labor Management Council of Greater Kansas City and the Kansas City Ballet.
