Senior Selected as Presidential Scholar Semifinalist

The Presidential Scholars program was established in 1964 to honor graduating seniors. Presidential Scholars are selected based on academic success, leadership and community service. Over 6,000 students completed the application process this year, which requires several essays. Paranjay is one of 625  semifinalists and one of just six from Kansas. Each year, up to 161 students from all over the United States are named as Presidential Scholars. Final outcomes are announced mid-May.
