New Club Explores Healthcare Careers
Middle and upper school students interested in health and biomedical science are participating in a club organized by sophomore Sanjana Akkulugari and science teacher Amie Buckner. HOSA encourages entry into global health care fields.
Students created boards with information about topics such as cancer, skin conditions, color blindness and antibiotic vs. antiviral preventatives. The boards will be a starting point for competition next year.
